General Ohio Information

Ohio's shoreline stretches for 312 miles (502km) along Lake Erie. The shoreline is mainly rocky, but there are some beaches and several ports. The many ports make it one of the nation's most important manufacturing, shipping and trading areas. Many industrial cities have developed here. Because of the s fertile soil, it is prime land for growing fruits and vegetables. Summer in Ohio is usually hot and humid, with the winters being mild to cold. The area along Lake Erie between Sandusky and Toledo is generally drier than the rest of the Ohio.

If you are looking for a place to go with options for everyone in your company then Ohio is your answer. Major cities, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Columbus and Dayton, give you shopping, entertainment, sports, fine dining and lodging. The Cleveland Zoo, Air Force Museum in Dayton and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are just a few examples of places to see in the cities. Ohio also features great lodging and camping along the southern shore of Lake Erie.
